Our Approach

We make sure we take the time to understand your needs, goals and preferences before we make any recommendations. Here is the simple process we like to follow:

1. YOUR INITIAL CONTACT

We will arrange with you, a convenient time and place to meet.

We will request that you gather your personal financial information in advance of our meeting. This will enable us to develop a clearer picture of your circumstances. Depending on the type of advice we are providing you with, we would typically need to see documents such as photo and address identification, bank statements, pay slips, savings statements, mortgage statements or pension and investment policy documents.

2. YOUR FACTFIND MEETING

We meet with you at a place convenient to you, which is usually your home to carry out an initial fact find meeting.

This meeting allows us to obtain a clear picture of your financial situation and requirements. We will provide you with information about our service, the type of advice we offer and explain the costs involved. If there is anything you want to discuss, your initial fact find meeting is the perfect time to ask any questions you may have.

3. PREPARING OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

Using the information you provide us with, we research the markets to review different products and providers in our search for the most cost effective options available to you. We then analyse these options and prepare our recommendations to suit your individual requirements.

4. DISCUSSING OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

We will hold a second meeting with you at a convenient time and location, and take you through our financial recommendation(s) in detail.

We explain why we have chosen specific financial products for you and outline their features. Our goal is to ensure that you understand why we have recommended certain products and that you are happy with our recommendation(s).

5. IMPLEMENTING YOUR PLAN

All of the necessary product paperwork is completed and processed.

We make sure that all our recommendations to which you have agreed have been implemented.

6. REVIEWING YOUR FINANCES

Depending on the type of advice we have provided you with and the review date of the products we have recommended for you, we will keep in contact with you to review your situation and fully service your ongoing financial needs. We can carry out a review face-to-face or by telephone, whichever is most convenient for you.

If your circumstances do change before we contact you for a review, please contact us to let us know, as it is important that we are kept informed: for example, if you get married, have a baby, change your job, or if you are considering buying a new property. All events that may affect your financial situation may require a more immediate review of your financial needs.
